Awesome weekend of Basketball!

Congratulations to the 7th/8th grade girls team as they took second place at the St. Peter and St. Paul tournament in New Braunfels over the weekend.

Congratulations also go out to our varsity girls as they went undefeated and won the championship at the Navarro High School tournament this weekend.

Last but not least congratulations to our varsity boys as they went 4-0 and won the South San tournament in San Antonio over the weekend. Congratulations to David for earning tournament MVP honors and to Toby, Ezra, and David for earning all-tournament honors.

In the varsity boys first game they defeated San Antonio Memorial 67-51. David led the way with 26 points. Ezra and Lincoln were also in double digits with 14 and 12 respectively. In their second game the Panthers defeated Monterey Park out of San Antonio 66-50. Toby scored a career high 31 points in the win. David and Ezra were also in double digits scoring 11 and 10 points. In the semi-final game the varsity team defeated Ingram Tom Moore 49-30. Toby scored a game high 19 points, while David chipped in 13. In the championship game the Panthers faced West Campus High School out of San Antonio. The Panthers came out firing and jumped out to a 25-6 lead at the end of the first quarter. They cruised to a 51-42 victory.
