The Panthers bounced back and defeated the HHA Mavericks 45-24 in their second game. In the semi-finals the 5th/6th grade boys lost to NB Thunder 35-20. They rebounded once again in the third place game to defeat FEAST Red 35-25.

The jv boys went 1-1 in pool play. They lost to eventual tournament champion CHSA Maroon in their season opener. They came back and defeated Founders Classical 53-29. The Panthers were down a couple players on Saturday due to injury and other team obligations. The boys fought hard but lost to FBCHA and CHSA White to conclude the tournament.

The varsity girls went 4-0 and brought home the tournament championship. They rolled through pool play defeating St. Dominic Savio 45-24 and the CHSA Wolverines 82-9. In the semi-finals the Panthers beat Founders Classical 50-19. In a good championship game the Panthers outlasted FBCHA 48-42. The Panthers were down a starter for the entire tournament due to a volleyball commitment. You better watch out, these girls are good!

The varsity boys went 2-2 in the tournament. They opened their season with a 45-40 victory over a very good Lake Houston team. The Panthers played a big part of the game without David due to foul trouble. He eventually fouled out with 5 minutes to go in the game. Up 42-40, Lincoln hit the first free throw of a one and one to put the Panthers up 3. He missed the second free throw, but Ezra grabbed the offensive rebound and was fouled. He hit both free throws to seal the game for the Panthers. Ezra also took 4 huge charges to lead the way on defense. Josh led the way on offense, knocking down 6 3-pointers.

In their second game the Panthers faced another tough test in the CHSA Wolverines. This was another exciting game. The Panthers were ahead most of the game, but CHSA came back to take a 3 point lead late. Ezra hit a 3 pointer to tie the with just seconds left in regulation to send it to overtime. Unfortunately the Panthers were down 2 players now, Lincoln was out due to injury, suffering a wrist injury late in the game and Deej fouled out late in regulation. CHSA took advantage and pulled out the victory 48-43

The varsity boys rebounded in their third game and beat NB Thunder 57-36.

In their tournament finale the Panthers played a solid FBCHA Eagle team. The Panthers were already out one starter due to injury. This was another back and forth game. The Panthers led for a big portion of it, but they finally ran out of gas and fell 54-49. Ezra fouled out late to put the Panthers down 2 starters to finish the game.
